If you are missing your breakfast smoothie, here’s one that won’t send you into glycolysis.
- 80g berries or any Dissident Diet approved fruit
- 180g full fat natural yoghurt
- heaped tablespoon ground almonds
- seeds from 3 cardamom pods, or grating of nutmeg, or a couple of drops of vanilla essence
- mint leaves to serve
Whizz all the above ingredients, except the mint, in a blender until smooth. Add water to achieve the consistency you prefer. Pour into a glass over ice cubes. Garnish with mint and enjoy.
